My name is Krish Shrestha, and I am currently enrolled in the Cybersecurity course at SkillShikshya. Before joining, I had absolutely no idea what cybersecurity was, but now I am gradually building my understanding and confidence in this field.

1. How practical and hands-on do you find our classes?

The classes are very practical and hands-on. We are not just learning theory, we are working on real-life scenarios, identifying vulnerabilities, and understanding how cybersecurity works in real-world situations.

We also participate in Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges, which makes learning more interactive and helps us apply what we learn.

2. How has your confidence improved from day 1 until now after joining this course?

In the beginning, I had no knowledge at all, not even the basic idea of what cybersecurity is.

Now, I have a good understanding of the core concepts and methods used in cybersecurity. I also feel more confident about how to study, how to grow, and which direction to take in this field.

3. On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your mentor and why?

I would rate the mentor highly because they are very friendly and approachable. Since they are close to our age, it feels easier to communicate and ask questions.

They explain concepts clearly and make sure we understand everything properly, which really helps in learning.

4. Did this course meet your expectations?

Yes, the course is meeting my expectations. The learning environment is good, the management team is supportive, and the overall experience has been positive so far.

I am gaining practical knowledge and real-world understanding, which is exactly what I was looking for.

5. Which area of cybersecurity do you prefer: Blue Team or Red Team?

At first, I found red teaming (hacking) more fun and interesting.

However, as I am learning more, I feel that blue teaming is better for long-term career growth. I am also starting to understand that moving into cloud security can be very beneficial in the future.

6. Would you recommend SkillShikshya’s Cyber Security Course to others?
