What were you doing before joining Skill Shikshya?

Before joining Skill Shikshya, I was involved in managing my family’s business. 

Why did you decide to learn Digital Marketing?

I wanted to explore a hybrid role where I could combine both strategy and creativity. That’s what made digital marketing so exciting and appealing to me.

I explored several options before choosing where to learn, but Skill Shikshya stood out as the best choice.

What skills or tools did you learn during the course?

Since joining, I have learned a lot of valuable skills, including SEO, advertising, content creation, and many other aspects of digital marketing.

Which projects or practical work helped you the most?

I worked on a project for a furniture business where I created and managed a social media page and published content. Through that project, I learned how to provide valuable content that genuinely engages an audience and adds value to a brand.

What part of the learning experience did you find most useful?

One of the most useful aspects of my learning experience was the mentorship. The mentors taught us through practical, hands-on approaches rather than just theory. Since they are also working professionals, they helped me understand how the industry actually operates in the real world.

How did you get your internship or job opportunity?

Regarding this opportunity, it was a two-way traffic. The team reached out to me, and at the same time, I was actively looking for job opportunities. I came across a LinkedIn post about the role, which is how I first learned about the position.

What is your current role and what kind of work do you do now?

My current role is Digital Marketing Intern, where I handle a variety of responsibilities ranging from running advertisements and creating content to planning and executing marketing campaigns.

How would you advise someone starting digital marketing?

Digital marketing is a very creative field. If you enjoy creativity and are looking for a hybrid role that combines strategy, communication, and innovation, I think this is a great career path for you.

How has this journey impacted your career or goals?

Working in the industry has been extremely helpful because it gives you practical experience and a real understanding of how things actually work. Many things can only be learned by being directly involved in the industry. Through this experience, I have been able to learn a wide range of skills and gain exposure to many different aspects of digital marketing.

Any final message you’d like to share?

Finally, I would like to say guys it's a very creative field. Join if you want to do the work. Sometimes the work will feel repetitive but at the end it will feel a very good thing to achieve.
