Position Overview – Quality Assurance (QA) Mentor at SkillShikshya

SkillShikshya is seeking knowledgeable and passionate mentors in Quality Assurance (QA) to guide and empower aspiring professionals as they develop the skills required to thrive in today’s fast-evolving world.
As a mentor, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping learners build a strong foundation in manual testing, automation testing, test case design, bug tracking, performance testing, and QA best practices. Through structured learning paths, you’ll provide personalized feedback, share industry insights, and support learners in applying their knowledge to real-world QA processes and tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and group mentorship to learners enrolled in SkillShikshya’s QA courses.

• Offer guidance on QA career paths, certifications, testing frameworks, and industry best practices.

• Support learners by addressing practical and technical queries related to manual and automated testing.

• Review student projects, give constructive feedback, and track progress.

• Conduct Q&A sessions, live doubt-clearing, and QA-focused webinars when needed.

• Collaborate with curriculum designers to ensure content stays aligned with current QA methodologies and tools.

Requirements

• Preferred 3+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance.

• Strong knowledge of manual testing, Selenium, JUnit/TestNG, Postman, JIRA, and other QA tools.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills — able to break down complex QA concepts clearly and patiently.

• A genuine passion for teaching, software quality, and helping others succeed.

• Bonus: Prior experience in mentoring, coaching, or training (formal or informal).
