Position Overview – Human Resource (HR) Mentor at SkillShikshya

SkillShikshya is seeking knowledgeable and passionate mentors in Human Resource Management to guide and empower aspiring HR professionals as they develop the skills required to thrive in today’s fast-evolving workplace.

As a mentor, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping learners build a strong foundation in recruitment, talent management, employee relations, HR operations, performance management, and organizational development. Through structured learning paths, you’ll provide personalized feedback, share industry best practices, and support learners in applying their knowledge to real-world HR scenarios and tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and group mentorship to learners enrolled in SkillShikshya’s HR courses.

• Offer guidance on HR career paths, certifications, and industry best practices.

• Support learners by addressing practical and professional queries related to HR policies, compliance, and employee engagement.

• Review student projects, give constructive feedback, and track progress.

• Conduct Q&A sessions, live doubt-clearing, and HR-focused webinars when needed.

• Collaborate with curriculum designers to ensure content stays aligned with modern HR practices and industry standards.

Requirements

• Preferred 3+ years of hands-on experience in Human Resource Management.

• Strong knowledge of HR operations, recruitment tools, HRIS systems, labor laws, and organizational frameworks.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills — able to break down complex HR concepts clearly and patiently.

• A genuine passion for teaching, people development, and helping others succeed.

• Bonus: Prior experience in mentoring, coaching, or training (formal or informal).
