Position Overview – DevOps Mentor at SkillShikshya

SkillShikshya is seeking knowledgeable and passionate mentors in DevOps to guide and empower aspiring professionals as they develop the skills required to thrive in today’s fast-evolving world.

As a mentor, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping learners build a strong foundation in CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, containerization, automation, monitoring, and deployment strategies. Through structured learning paths, you’ll provide personalized feedback, share industry best practices, and support learners in applying their knowledge to real-world DevOps tools and projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and group mentorship to learners enrolled in SkillShikshya’s DevOps courses.

• Offer guidance on career paths, certifications, cloud platforms, and industry best practices.

• Support learners by addressing practical and technical queries related to infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and deployment processes.

• Review student projects, give constructive feedback, and track progress.

• Conduct Q&A sessions, live doubt-clearing, and DevOps-focused webinars when needed.

• Collaborate with curriculum designers to ensure content stays up-to-date with DevOps trends and industry standards.

Requirements

• Preferred 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps.

• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, and monitoring tools.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills — able to break down complex DevOps concepts clearly and patiently.

• A genuine passion for teaching, technology, and helping others succeed.

• Bonus: Prior experience in mentoring, coaching, or training (formal or informal).
