Position Overview – Data Analytics (Power BI) Mentor at SkillShikshya

SkillShikshya is seeking knowledgeable and passionate mentors in Data Analytics with Power BI to guide and empower aspiring analysts as they develop the skills required to thrive in today’s fast-evolving data-driven world.


As a mentor, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping learners build a strong foundation in data modeling, visualization, dashboard creation, DAX functions, and business intelligence reporting. Through structured learning paths, you’ll provide personalized feedback, share industry best practices, and support learners in applying their knowledge to real-world datasets and analytical projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one and group mentorship to learners enrolled in SkillShikshya’s Data Analytics (Power BI) courses.

  • Offer guidance on career paths, certifications, and industry best practices in business intelligence.

  • Support learners by addressing practical and technical queries related to data visualization, dashboard design, and reporting.

  • Review student projects, give constructive feedback, and track progress.

  • Conduct Q&A sessions, live doubt-clearing, and analytics-focused webinars when needed.

  • Collaborate with curriculum designers to ensure content stays aligned with industry standards and Power BI updates.

Requirements

  • Preferred 3+ years of hands-on experience in Data Analytics and Power BI.

  • Strong knowledge of Power BI, DAX, Power Query, Excel, SQL, and data modeling techniques.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills — able to break down complex data concepts clearly and patiently.

  • A genuine passion for teaching, analytics, and helping others succeed.

  • Bonus: Prior experience in mentoring, coaching, or training (formal or informal).
